What is Judaism?
Overview
Judaism dates back to 2000 BCE. The Jewish religion has been attacked for centuries by other religions. The earliest evidence of hatred towards the Jewish people was the enslavement of Jews by Egyptian pharaohs. After Moses became the leader of the jews, in the 13th century, he led his people to the promise land. When the jews reached the promise land, Canaan, they saw that it was already populated by the canaanites. Moses then spoke with god and they created the 10 commandments. The 10 commandments are the rules of which the Jewish people live by. It is the moral code of the Jewish religion.
